I stumbled upon this place because I was in the area.. & I’m so glad i did! I truly enjoyed my coffee & my food! Although it was take out, I enjoyed the service and loved the atmosphere! I ordered a brown sugar baby iced coffee with almond milk and cinnamon and a bodega sandwhich on croissant with turkey bacon. The pepper jelly sent the sandwich over the TOP! In the best way possible! I’ll most definitely be back to actually enjoy the atmosphere!

Such a gem of a black owned coffee shop. I've been to Black Coffee a few times since this spring! I love their lattés all great flavors & yum tasting. So far I've had the marleaux love with a matcha shot, and the rose latté, such dope names! And food is yummy too, I've had te bodega sandwich and the pesto one, both delicious. If I lived close by I'd visit several times weekly. Just like I did with my old favs when I lived in Bklyn & now other close to me. Bonus that Black coffee is spacious for reading and amazing art, feels like you're sipping a coffee in a lovely art gallery!

I really wanted to support this business and drove 45 minutes to check it out, but unfortunately my experience left me disappointed. When I arrived, I wasn't greeted because one of the employees was busy talking with a coworker. I ordered an iced coffee and a sandwich. The drink was made quickly, but all of the syrup settled at the bottom of the cup, so it mostly tasted like oat milk. While waiting for my sandwich, I noticed the same employee was still chatting with her coworker about her hair and even pulled out a pack of braiding hair. During that time, I stepped into the restroom. Apparently, my sandwich was brought out while I was gone, but no one made an effort to let me know it was ready. I sat down and waited for about 15 minutes before going to the counter to ask about it, only to be told that it had already been brought out. They did remake the sandwich, which I appreciated. I also asked for an extra shot of espresso and a larger cup so I could mix my drink properly and balance the flavor, but the response I received made me feel like I was asking for something unreasonable. I am always happy to support Black-owned businesses, especially since there aren't many in my area,

So I rarely drink coffee but I love coffee shops. Black Coffee is one of the nicest shops in terms of esthetics. A great small working spots if you want coffee and an art gallery. My new fav drink is the peach smoothie. Simple, right? Wrong. This thing was delicious beyond my expectation. I knew I would be disappointed once I'd finished. So come for the coffee/drinks, stay for the vibes.

Absolutely exquisite experience that impressed me from the moment I walked through the door. The staff welcomed me and the owner was beyond nice and super helpful with menu choices. I had a plant based coffee drink (DEEELIOCOUS!), and a Heath Bar cookie. Both were 10/5 stars! I’ll definitely be back and the vibe is real! Sooo upscale and super nice!
